About Me

My name is Javen Juson. I am a Toronto-based illustrator and visual artist working between digital imagery and wearable design. My work is influenced by music culture, streetwear, and emotional storytelling, translating atmosphere and identity into bold, expressive visuals.

I am interested in how visuals can translate emotion and sound into something tangible.

My work moves between illustration and wearable design, exploring how these concepts can exist across both digital and physical forms.

Process and Practice

Concept Development

Illustrative concepts, rooted in environment and symbolism, develop into a sequence, form, or wearable design

My work is influenced by music, streetwear culture, and the emotional atmosphere of album artwork. I’m interested in how visuals can translate sound, mood, and identity into something expressive and tangible.

I begin with illustration concepts rooted in symbolism, atmosphere, and emotion. These ideas are then developed into final pieces across different formats, including digital work, custom apparel, and painted sneakers.

By moving between illustration and wearable design, I aim to create work that exists beyond the page-turning visual concepts into physical forms while maintaining the original energy of the artwork.

My practice focuses on creating visuals that feel immersive, personal, and connected to music culture.
